Visioning

  • Key questions:

     ° Where does the organization want to go?
     ° What does the organization want to become?
     ° What business do we want to be in?
     ° What are the markets it will serve?
     ° What will clients be buying in those markets?
     ° What will be the size of the company – revenue, earnings, employees, locations?

  • Vision provides broad direction to the organization. Vision provides a compass in chaotic times.
  • Vision helps unify the organization and align efforts to a common destination.
  • Vision is developed by the executive team and communicated to the organization.


CMA Approach

  • Vision Development

     ° Facilitate creative and expansive dialogue until clarity is achieved on what organization
        is to become and where it wants to go.
     ° Provide a set of questions to provoke thoughts and discussion.
     ° Prepare a written statement of the vision following dialogue with executives.
     ° Review and finalize the vision statement with executive management.

  • Assist in developing and implementing a plan to communicate the vision throughout the organization.
