Henry J. Hummert, Ph.D.
Henry has provided a wide variety of consulting services for over 20 years. The focus of his work has been in individual assessments for development and selection, organizational assessments, coaching, 360 feedback, teambuilding, leadership development, talent management and succession planning. He has provided consulting services for public, privately held, for profit, not-for-profit organizations and family businesses. He has assisted organizations of all sizes in multiple industries including manufacturing, engineering, banking and finance, food and beverage, health care and construction.
He has served as a consulting psychologist for the Center for the Application of Behavioral Sciences at St. Louis University, and the St. Louis University Medical Center. He was Director of Psychology for a St. Louis-based hospital that became part of a nationwide health care system. He has been a consultant for television and print media regarding employee satisfaction, effective business leadership, and motivational issues in the workplace and he was host of a psychology talk show on local radio.
He is a member and past President of the St. Louis Psychological Association and he has served on the Council of Representatives for the Missouri Psychological Association. He is a member of the American Psychological Association, the Division of Consulting Psychology, the Division of Media Psychology and he serves as an adjunct faculty member for Washington University’s Department of Psychology.
Henry is active in community affairs with organizations such as Forest Park Forever and Focus St. Louis and he is a proud Big Brother in the Big Brother/Big Sister program.
He holds a Bachelors degree in Psychology from Illinois State University, a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology from Illinois State University, and a Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from St. Louis University. He is a licensed psychologist in the state of Missouri.
